Home care during cancer treatment in Cheshire
Who it suits: Someone going through treatment who needs more help some weeks than others.
Treatment rarely needs the same amount of help every week. There are stretches where very little is needed and stretches where getting washed and dressed is the whole morning. Care that cannot flex around that is not much use.
We can increase visits during a hard cycle and drop them back afterwards, without a penalty and without a conversation about contracts. There is no minimum term, which matters more here than anywhere else.
We are a personal care and companionship service. The clinical side stays with the oncology team, the district nurses and the GP — we work around them, and we tell you what we notice in between, which is often the thing nobody else is there to see.

What we help with
- Personal care on the days when fatigue makes it too much
- Meals prepared, and appetite worked around rather than argued with
- Lifts to and from appointments, with someone waiting
- Help keeping the house going when energy is going elsewhere
- Flexibility, because treatment weeks and good weeks are not the same
What a typical week looks like
Treatment weeks
More visits, more help, less expected of anybody.
Better weeks
Scaled back to whatever is actually wanted. You are not paying for care you do not need.
Rates start from £25
Visits start at 30 minutes — we don't impose a one-hour minimum. Every package is quoted in writing after a free assessment.
What drives the cost, and who might payQuestions we get asked
- Can we change the hours as things go along?
- Yes, and you should. There is no minimum term and no notice period — increase it during a hard cycle and drop it back afterwards. That flexibility is the point.
- Do you provide nursing care?
- No. We are registered for personal care, so anything clinical stays with your district nurses and oncology team. We work alongside them, not instead of them.
Where we provide cancer support
Start with a free visit, not a commitment
We come out, meet you at home and talk through what would actually help. There is no charge for the visit and no obligation at the end of it.
